N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a sulfur-containing amino acid that acts as a stabilizer for the formation of protein structures, and is also necessary for the formation of glutathione.
Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that prevents damage from free radicals on a cellular level. Free radicals are unstable atoms that cause major damage to cells by breaking them down, which in turn lays the foundation for serious illnesses, like diabetes, cancer and Alzheimers. Antioxidants (like glutathione) neutralize those free radicals. It can help combat cell damage throughout the body.
It also contains molybdenum and selenium, which are essential trace minerals that facilitate the production of several important enzymes.
Directions
Take 1 capsule twice daily.
