Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that's available in some foods, and it's also naturally produced in our bodies. There's some strong evidence that regular use of alpha-lipoic acid might help for various forms of oxidation and inflammation.
Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) promotes the production of glutathione and can also recycle vitamins C and E, thereby enhancing their antioxidant activities. In addition, ALA may help to maintain healthy neural tissues, promote proper glucose metabolism and support healthy cardiovascular function. The supplement is also complemented with black pepper fruit extract Bioperine to increase the bioavailability of ALA, and grape seed extract for additional health benefits because it is extremely rich in antioxidants.
Directions
Take 1 capsule daily, preferably with a meal. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
