5-HTP (5-hydroxy L-tryptophan) is a naturally occurring intermediate metabolite between the amino acid L-tryptophan and serotonin. 5-HTP is extracted from the seed of an African plant (Griffonia simplicifolia). These chewable 5-HTP tablets are with a natural citrus flavor.
