Arginine is an amino acid, produced in the pituitary gland, so basically it’s a non-essential nutrient; however, during hard physical work, your body may not be able to produce it in sufficient quantities, so you may need to take it in from external sources (conditionally essential), practically in the form of dietary supplements.
One of its major roles is contributing to nitrogen oxide – or nitrogen monoxide, NO – synthesis. It is also well known for energy production through improving blood flow, which also supports muscle growth.

Directions
Mix 2 g (half a measuring spoon = half a tbsp) powder with 400 ml water or soft drink. Take two servings daily.
