Lecithin is an essential substance in the body because it is present in every cell, mainly as a component of cell membranes.
Lecithin is a phospholipid that is involved in the breakdown of fat and cholesterol, thus improving the digestion of fatty foods and preventing excess fat from accumulating in the body. It lowers blood cholesterol, prevents brain damage, protects the nervous system and liver, helps strengthen the immune system and prevents atherosclerosis.
