Beta Alanine

Beta alanine is amino acid that’s used by muscle cells to synthesize Carnosine. Carnosine is found in high concentrations in skeletal muscle, and it’s preferentially located in the strongest fast-twitch muscle fibers. Boosting Carnosine in muscles via beta alanine supplementation has a growing popularity among educated bodybuilders and athletes.

Supplementing with beta alanine will enhance performance by increasing carnosine which reduces the lactic acid and fatigue in muscles during exercise. It is found in many pre-workout products because of its impact on endurance.

It has been also shown to increase fat loss when combined with exercise. It does this by increasing more efficient use of stored body fat as energy during exercise.
